Sir Richard Branson cuts the ribbon at the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship – Caribbean
The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship – Caribbean will be based in Montego Bay, Jamaica with smaller virtual ‘satellite’ centres developed across the Caribbean on a bespoke basis as increased levels of funding and business sponsors get involved. The first Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship was established in 2006 in Johannesburg, South Africa as a unique launch pad for bold and aspiring entrepreneurs to create successful businesses.
Virgin Holidays the UK’s leading long haul tour operator is the lead Virgin business sponsor of the Centre in the Caribbean, whilst Virgin Unite, the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Centre.
What is the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship - Caribbean?
The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship – Caribbean will act as a hub for aspiring entrepreneurs. Our mission is to offer practical business skills, access to coaches to offer guidance, mentors to share their experiences and financing opportunities to enable growth.
